The journey for “Bottum Lyne” within the Hip Hop culture began at
a very young age. From being introduced to it at 4 years old, to
Break Dancing & Beat Boxing in Elementary and Middle School talent
shows, all the way up to the current in becoming an MC. Who knew
that when he said his first rhyme in the 4 th Grade in front of
the whole school that it could lead to a possible career in the
music industry.“Bottums”, as he is affectionately known, has been
writing rhymes since 1993 till the present where he has taken part
in may MC battles, talent shows and competitions and overall sessions
of rocking the “MIC” at parties. AT NO TIME HAS HE EVER BEEN CONSIDERED
WACK.
He is heavily influenced by both the pioneers of the old school
rap and many of the leaders in the new school. Favorite MC's and
groups consist of RUN DMC, EPMD, Public Enemy, Wu Tang Clan, Redman,
NAS and a host of other talented MC's. As an MC, his style parallels
the definition of Hip Hop. He is unique, peculiar, extremely creative
and charismatic. One who constantly goes against the grain and mostly
never conforms to the norm.
His lyrics and personality stand out and sets him apart by not being
like anyone else. Bottums considers himself a fan of the music and
culture, which allows him to judge himself harshly and unbiased,
making him a perfectionist who consistently makes good music. In
all, the Bottom Line is, “Bottum Lyne” is ready for the world. He
has worked hard. He has paid his dues. He has a wealth of knowledge
and experience when doing shows. Mix all these factors together
and combine them with an overall LOVE for the music & culture, and
you have a talented, dedicated Artist who is definitely platinum
bound. In other words GIVE BOTTUMS GOOD PROMOTION + GOOD PRODUCTION
& HE WILL GIVE YOU INSTANT PLATINUM.
